Yea I realized after I made it it had this limitation - if someone wants to make another group thats fine, wouldnt be hard to do. Setting that page up was confusing enough.plug1 wrote:can you make it so you can can see who the other people in the group are?Sandro wrote:Theres gotta be more than 13 of you guys with Facebook!

Most likely withdrawing from UGA this week. Hope that opens up a spot and a scholarship for someone else!

I got an in-state tuition equalizer. It came in a letter about a week after I was accepted. However this week they upped it by 5k a year, and I was notified of that through e-mail. I was told that a new letter would be forthcoming. All of that to say, you'll probably get a letter in 7-10 days.limelightwave wrote:those of you that got scholarships- when and how did you get that info?

So the original letter came about a week after your status checker showed you were accepted? Sidenote- do they send out acceptance packets via mail?jarv1506 wrote:congrats!limelightwave wrote:accepted today via status checker super excited!!!

My acceptance packet was a large envelope, a printed sheet of paper congratulating me on acceptance w/ out of state tuition costs, and a window sticker.limelightwave wrote:So the original letter came about a week after your status checker showed you were accepted? Before I applied, they sent me a nice booklet that looked nicer than my acceptance "package"..
A week later, they sent two sep. letters - another congrats letter and the gold ticket (scholarship info).

For those going to the event tomorrow, has there been any info on standard dress? "Business casual" i'd assume?

The formal invitation I received through the mail said "casual attire." I hope they mean something more than gym shorts and t shirts.

Re: Georgia 2011 Applicants
My acceptance packet came via mail. No view-book, just a sticker and a letter of congratulations. I received that a few days after I was accepted via status checker. My scholarship info showed up about a week after I was accepted via status checker. I'm sure the speed with which you receive the info will at least be in part impacted by how far away you live from the school.limelightwave wrote:So the original letter came about a week after your status checker showed you were accepted? likewise; enjoyed today as well. All the students there were extremely helpful. This will make my choice (potentially) much harder.....

Yeah, there is a shuttle called AAA that runs every hour and fifteen minutes or so from atlanta to athens and vice versa, if you don't want to rent a car.bartleby wrote:wish i was there. will try and take the friday after next off to visit. do you all fly into atlanta?
