Just got home and got the acceptance letter. I would love to go to USC but it's so expensive. Hopefully the acceptance packet contains some scholarship money. Congratulations to everyone accepted and best of luck to those still waiting!

Any modestly numbered folk out there? I'm right at the median LSAT, and just a teeny weeny bit under the 25th GPA (by like .06). Do have some relatively unusual (if not wholly unique) softs. I know it's still probably all numbers this early on but...don't stop believing...hold on to the feelin'

And by "out there" I really meant "admitted." I see -some- similarly numbered folk as myself admitted to USC (and other top places), but they seem like relative anomalies. The self-reported stats I found are around 3 years old, I just hope...nevermind

3.7/166 here ...only "complete" since 11/18!!! is this a good or bad sign? Does it mean that I'm right in the middle and they are feeling out the applicant pool??

They probably take longer to get back to nonURMs with 166 or below.
167 is their magic # I think.
That said, you have a good shot at getting in so I wouldn't stress about rejection/WL yet. They haven't even reviewed your app yet! They might love it and admit you soon Stay positive.

I've been watching this site for a while as I suppose most hopeful law students do but this is my first post. Ive been "in review" for USC since 11/22 with no further updates. I did get a letter asking me to apply for Rothman but I considered it not worth my time since I am a borderline candidate. Will they be waiting until rothman deadline is up to render a decision or is that independent of the admissions process? Thanks again and good luck to all those still waiting and congrats to those who have heard good news so far.

it's independent of the admissions process. some people have heard back already.

Still IR 11/22 at/above both medians. Got an email from USC today that I thought would be an update or address confirmation or something, but it was just a reminder to send in my Rothman application.
