I don't think so, no. I'm RD. I think the 10/25 wave in general was RD.

There were a few ED rejections, and one deferral, but I don't know of any ED accepts yet.

It is not necessarily bad news; it just means that you shouldn't be expecting an acceptance letter tomorrow.

Just got my status fixed today and my random hold lifted. So I expected to get a decision with the rest of people who went complete 11/1. Probably very late November or December.

I'm RD too, went complete 10/28 and then again this morning. I don't think its bad news to be updated a few times, its probably just the application going through the review cycle. I would probably expect a decision late this week or early next week at the earliest. Don't worry so much! =)

Submitted 10/24. Complete 10/29. Nothing yet in the mail....

Does your status checker every change to decision rendered or something like that? The mail at my apartment building sucks. Sometimes larger envelopes don't fit and they hold it as a package at the front desk without ever notifying you.

I imagine you'll need to wait a while longer.

I went complete October 8th then was complete again on the 14th and just got the email today that I've been deferred as an ED applicant into the regular applicant pool. Status check still says complete 10/14.

Is this a very bad sign? Is it better or worse than a waitlist? Is there anything I else I could do like send another letter of recommendation?

I went through this last year...I mean, its not a bad sign in that you weren't rejected. However, if they didn't accept you ED, which is supposed to give you a bit of a boost, I don't know what incentive there would be for them to accept you RD. I would seriously consider an LSAT retake at this point if you really want GULC.

Or I may be completely off-base. What are your numbers (or in what range if you don't wanna say exactly).

I know, just wanted to get a sense of what to expect in a few weeks.

My status checker didn't change, it just stopped updating the complete dates. The final complete date was the day my letter was dated.

Edit: It was a small envelope.

Nope.. no interview here. It seems a stopped status checker can be a good sign, but mine stopped for awhile then started again today so who knows?

I am an ED applicant had my interview on the 28th and status updated on the 29th. I emailed yesterday to see what impact the interview process had on the ED timeline and received this response.

We do our best to expedite the interviews for Early Decision applicants, however, we cannot always guarantee a decision in three weeks with the added element of the alumni interview. We have received the evaluation materials back from your interviewer and are in the process of making a decision on your file. You should be hearing back from us shortly.

You have to figure that several people have to look at your file in order for a decision to be reached. With so many applications to go through, it probably varies when all necessary parties have viewed the app and the adcomm can make a decision. I wouldn't say this is necessarily anything to worry about. A status update means that someone else has looked at your file (or looked at it again), and if they are still viewing your file, it means you haven't been dinged yet.
