My recommender just forwarded me the e-mail (the same one) he got. I told him two weeks ago I got in, but it looks like he doesn't remember I told him - so I look like an idiot as well.

Just wanted to thank you guys for this heads up. I had one recommender who specifically asked to stay in the loop, so it was nice to be able to send her a quick thank you before it started to look like I was ignoring her request (and waiting until January/February as planned). Much appreciated-good luck with the rest of your cycles.

I'd say an early congrats is in order. Yours may work since it was so long ago (as opposed to us 12/6 people).

well, either way, if it doesn't say that it is unable to generate a username/password right now, that's probably a good sign. Maybe they are doing something with their system right now and the emails aren't going out.

Yup, I received notification that my app was changed to ED on Friday morning. I'm like 99% sure that I'm in, but that other 1% is remarkably significant.

Did you ask them to change it to ED?

Yes. I emailed the admissions office last week and requested to be switched to ED.

So does the trend seem to be that they send out groups of decisions on Mondays?

I tried to look at LSN and that seems to be the case, but it's hard to tell definitively since some people report their decision date as the day they got login info for admitted studetns site, and some people report the day they got the letter.

I had an interview on 12/3, if i were accepted you think I would have been part of 12/6 admitted students email batch? Perhaps since interview was on 12/3 it will still take some time? I am an ED applicant.

The same thing happened to me! (They told my recommender first!) I felt really bad, but he didn't seem mad.

I went complete for ED on 12/3...should I expect a decision by the end of this month?...I assume the admissions office will be closed for a few weeks

Did you request the login information by clicking the "no password" link on the admitted students site? You won't get an email unless you request it. Also, if your interview was friday, it's probably a bit early, but I don't know for sure. Your update on 12/6 could very well have been your interviewer submitting your interview assessment.

Also, does anyone know when us 12/6ers should be able to login to the site with the usernames/passwords that we got?
