AAH. I need to start submitting apps ASAP. I'm hoping going complete by Dec 15 won't hurt me. Those words are not helping! lolArbiter213 wrote:I was wondering why so late, but I suppose with your numbers it doesn't matter for UCLA.Bildungsroman wrote:Submitted this today. 168/4.0

I'm guessing I'm screwed, as I'm ED and I got the "complete" e-mail and acknowledgment of my ED from the office on 3 November... and nothing yet. I know I am pushing it with my LSAT score and I'd be OK with a rejection, or even a WL, but I'd like it soon. Just... something. =-/

yes, the "unknown" is what's rough, though i applied RD, so I could very likely have a much longer wait for a decision than you. good luck!Aggiegrad2011 wrote:I'm guessing I'm screwed, as I'm ED and I got the "complete" e-mail and acknowledgment of my ED from the office on 3 November... and nothing yet. Re: UCLA? 2011
It is a HUGE unknown! The worst part is not knowing if I'll need to write the June LSAT as well to try for a higher score and lose an entire year of productivity. Bad juju. =-/ Thanks though, I'll take all the luck I can get. I'm not used to needing it...glitter178 wrote:yes, the "unknown" is what's rough, though i applied RD, so I could very likely have a much longer wait for a decision than you. good luck!Aggiegrad2011 wrote:I'm guessing I'm screwed, as I'm ED and I got the "complete" e-mail and acknowledgment of my ED from the office on 3 November... and nothing yet. Hey Aggiegrad... are you by any chance from UCD? I just graduated from there .
Is there a general timeline for how long it takes to hear back after going complete?... I went complete the 16th and I'm ED. I can't describe how much I'm stressing out right now and I'm usually pretty laid back about this stuff. I hate law school already haha.

I am the UCD flavor of aggie yes, finishing my last year (working on my undergraduate honors thesis through ISHP / UWP right now)! What was your major?Del Fin wrote:Hey Aggiegrad... are you by any chance from UCD? I just graduated from there .

As far as time line, who knows. I looked back at last cycle's threads and it seemed like ED had decisions, no matter when they submitted (obviously by the ED deadline, of course) no later than the 3rd week in Dec, which jibes with UCLA's statements about guarantees on decisions for ED applicants. I guess it's only ~ 3 more weeks... I applied to Cornell as well (And a few other schools) so I am anxiously awaiting what will likely be a WL/Ding from their EA program.

Yea I applied to Cornell as well, but not in time for the EA. I looked at your schools, we share a nearly identical application list haha. I'm sorry to hear you're still in Davis at this time of year... I imagine it is freezing!
I was an Economics and Communications dbl. major, but I want to do entertainment law, so I'm really hoping the ED will give me the extra push to get into UCLA(I'm a 3.4/169).
I'm just worried because on the earlier post to this thread, people were getting decisions within 2 weeks of going complete so I'm freaking out.

Don't they have a time-frame for when ED decisions are out? Before January I think?adamdroog wrote:I have been complete sense 10/07. I applied ED 174/3.38. I am ready for a decision. Any decision.
I know you waited a year to re-apply. I sincerely hope you get good news soon!

ED decisions *must* be released by December 31st according to the ED agreement... ten bucks says I get mine on the 30th or 31st.JJDancer wrote:Don't they have a time-frame for when ED decisions are out? Yeah, for sure, misery loves company... but even that's getting a little to extreme for me around here. We're all sitting and waiting, but I guess that's just the way it goes! Hurry up and wait... It'd be nice to know where to start looking for apartments, IMHO.calilaw wrote:Good to see some fellow Aggies going through the same situation as me I just want to get some decisions at this point.Aggiegrad2011 wrote:I am the UCD flavor of aggie yes, finishing my last year (working on my undergraduate honors thesis through ISHP / UWP right now)! Admissions 2010
Number of applicants: 8,748
Number of admits: 1,436
Number of enrollees: 310
GPA (25th, 50th, 75th percentiles):
3.56 / 3.77 / 3.87
LSAT (25th, 50th, 75th percentiles):
165 /168 / 170
I guess I'm at 75th, slightly below median.
