IU Indy is a fairly high on mylist but since I am oos, ill need $ to attend. Hoping Feb. Retake will give me some room to negotiate.
We have very similar numbers and went complete around the same time so I am hoping for good news myself. Congrats!Chants wrote:In today via email. Complete mid December. Same username @ LSN for #'s etc.

If you would attend even if you could only go as a PT student, then apply for either. And there's no question, write the Why Indy essay. I would be happy to look it over if you like. If you get in, but PT, you can always transfer as a FT student for 2L. Nevertheless, apply asap (without sacrificing quality). A lot of spots have already been offered up to applicants.boilermaker11 wrote:IU-INDY is one of my top choices and I really want to be admitted full-time. However my numbers are 144 and 2.99 GPA
I am applying for either part-time or full-time
Should I write a WHY IU-INDY statement as well?
I really want to be admitted full-time but I feel like they will just admit me to part-time without as much consideration as if I was just applying for full-time. BUT I don't want to take the risk of being rejected.
Any advice??
I woud recommend applying asap and retaking the LSAT in Feb. I know it's only two weeks away, but Indy takes your highest score. I got a much lower score than I anticipated in Dec. I went in and spoke with an admissions rep and she recommended retaking. My GPA is also a 2.99 and I have good softs and essays. I would buckle down and study the next two weeks and see if you can raise your score some.boilermaker11 wrote:IU-INDY is one of my top choices and I really want to be admitted full-time. E-mail. I'm supposed to get the letter also but due to weather, there's a delay in sending the letter.Chants wrote:gokickrocks wrote:WTH, I got a $14k scholarship today for being a Non-Resident. 3.0 gpa stipulation AND remain a non-resident
Did scholly info come with admissions letter?
Complete since 11/4. I sent them an e-mail a couple of weeks ago and they said that they hope to have a decision to me by the end of March. Very generic.gin wrote:Sorry to scare you guys but I only have a question:
How long does it usually take to go from complete to UR. I've been complete since 1/13
Now there's a charge.
