Waitlisted today.darklighter13 wrote:Haven't received an e-mail yet, but my letter says I was waitlisted yesterday. 173/2.46
Ha! The funny thing for me is that I am waitlisted all over the place; safeties, targets, and insane reaches (hello, Chicago!) Part of me thinks SOMEONE has to bite, but then that is just wishful thinking.Encyclopedia Brown wrote:It looks like quite a few people were stealth-waitlisted today. Welcome, guys.
jks: I think you're in almost every thread I'm in. Looks like we're the same flavor of mediocre.
WHA?! NOOOOOOOO!! You were supposed to be IN!MirandaHobbes wrote:i belong here, now.

With 4 years military experience I wouldn't count yourself out. That is a hell of a soft.jchb6d wrote:Seeing everyone else's numbers makes me feel like I have a guardian angel at Admissions.
165, 3.5, 4 years military (but didn't do anything worth writing home about).
I guess I should definitely stay on the waitlist then? Far and away the best school I have a chance at. Shouldn't just throw it away?

If you're going to ask your boss, you should ask for a CPE (as per the original "hold" letter from NU). I think it's a lot more compelling than just a general rec, because the CPE actually asks substantial questions to guide the recommender.jks289 wrote:I haven't written them a word since my original application.MirandaHobbes wrote:lawyerlover wrote:I ...have written almost every 3 weeks since feb 3.every three weeks? i'm struggling with what to write in my second LOCI. i'm just not that interesting.

Honestly, my alum interview went so badly (The guy actually told me he didn't think NW was the place for me.![]()
) I just sort of gave up hope. I am out of things to say, but I'll write a brief statement and ask my boss to write an LOR.

Where do I get the CPE form? I am not seeing it on the site.Tweek wrote:If you're going to ask your boss, you should ask for a CPE (as per the original "hold" letter from NU). The only reason I knew about the CPE was because I had originally looked into applying to the AJD program.jks289 wrote:Where do I get the CPE form? I am not seeing it on the site.
Thanks! That will probably be easier for him to fill out.Tweek wrote:The only reason I knew about the CPE was because I had originally looked into applying to the AJD program.jks289 wrote:Where do I get the CPE form? I am not seeing it on the site.
