Lots more activity shown on LSN. Is there anything we can divine from the data?

You get the benefit of explaining to your relatives that it's a waitlist, and seeing their disappointment materialize first-hand.TheMostDangerousLG wrote:Difference between reserve and waitlist?

Withdraw from Columbia, ride the HLS waitlist, and try to figure out wtf adcoms don't like about my applications.

I'm not able to draw any conclusions from the '13/'14 comparison. The core of the acceptances seem to fall within the same range, and the differences in the outliers don't mean much to me since I already don't trust outliers very much.

Yeah, it's difficult to see much from the graph.checkers wrote:I'm not able to draw any conclusions from the '13/'14 comparison. The core of the acceptances seem to fall within the same range, and the differences in the outliers don't mean much to me since I already don't trust outliers very much.
There are also a few profiles where the numbers are completely fudged so the outliers might mean nothing.

They can and should make their profiles private if they want anonymity.fivestarfolds wrote:There are also a few profiles where the numbers are completely fudged so the outliers might mean nothing.

Still no word. Does everyone hear back with an acceptance, ding, or wait list from the held list?

They just asked for my grades and they won't be updated by the 25th.. Will they probably just reserve me anyway or actually wait for the grades?
