thats why you get an ipod touch or a smartphone! That way, every time it vibrates or beeps, you hurry and check hoping it is a law school, but it is only your mom or your girlfriend or florida coastal.Krones wrote:So begins the obsessive checking of the email...samer wrote:I just got an email. It's so strange when you look at their first decision dates this year compared to last year. Do y'all think this is just because of the increased applications every school seems to be receiving this year?

In today (EA) with a snail mail binder. Very nice presentation and scholly of $20k the first year and $15k the second year.
My initial impression is that it's not enough $$ and they waited too long to decide. All of which is a damn shame because I LOVE Phoenix and I have family in the area.

ive realized that part of the reason i keep posting in this thread is that i predict USNWR will eventually use TLS forums as a data point in its ranking analysis.

I applied RD in early January. It is looking like I will be lucky to hear by May at this rate.

In today(163/3.51). Offered me 15k but it doesnt say anything abou it being renewable fr 2nd and 3rd year nor is there any stipulaitons. Does this mean I get no money after 1L?

They may be offering you "in-state" for your first year. Congrats though, our numbers are similar, so that makes me hopeful.eberl032 wrote:In today(163/3.51). Re: What's up with Arizona State (ASU)?
I had a conversation with the person in charge of financial aid/scholarship and was told that ASU has a special endowment where they have excess money for the upcoming year. I was also told that scholarships are front-loaded with the thought that students can work in years 2 and 3. So there you go, it is just a first year scholarship, but it is a scholarship none the less.

162/3.73. 15k a year scholarship. Out of state.AsexualChocolate wrote:Also deferred. WL'd at UofA today as well. Interested to hear everyone's numbers... Seems like nobody under 163 is willing to post in profile (me included). I'm a 3.56 LSAC (small private U), 157 (embarrassed to admit).
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
