If you want to have an accurate picture of me in mind then think of Brad Pitt.

Confused. Whats the January start about? Is that an option for those of us WL'd for Fall 2011 - to start in January 2012? Or you were supposed to have applied for it in November/December of 2010 for a January 2011 start?

SMH If you can't find the sarcasm, how will you ever find the legal issue?

So begins another week of waiting for a phone call... good luck to all! Anyway, my question is does anyone feel being in the PT program instead of FT will negatively effect someones 1L summer opportunities?

I'm not sure why it would. You are done at the same time the FT class is done, taken the same classes, etc... Maybe I am underestimating that potential employers would look down on the PT students, but as long as you perform well I don't see a problem.

For those of you on the wait list who sent in a LOCI, did you get a response confirming they received your letter?

Yeah - they always send a stock email back being like "Thank you for your interest in Cardozo Law. This correspondence will be added to your file"

I sent mine via snail mail, but never got that. Did anyone else send it via snail mail, but get an e-mail like the one above?

I just got into the Cardozo's May program via phone call a few minutes ago.

PS- they had called me in for an interview yesterday since I was waitlisted. The interview went well. She seemed to have re-read my entire application and focused her question on everything in the application. If you do get called for an interview, please be prepared to talk about any weaknesses in your application and highlight the strengths.

I hope you all hear good news soon to. :)

I was recently admitted from the "hold" list with 15K, and was able to (successfully) negotiate for a bit more [but still not enough, given the cost of tuition and cost of living]. The odds say that my spot will remain open . . .

Good luck to everyone who remains in waiting!

Funny story from back in mid-February... I got home to my apartment and looked in my mailbox to see a thick "Cardozo" envelope... I got really excited... but... they had sent me a viewbook, which I never requested. I got a good laugh out of it, but how would you feel if you saw that in your mailbox?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
