Definitely! I heard that last year's was great. Can't wait til I get an admit packet, so that I have some tangible evidence that I was really accepted.

I'll upload them ASAP! I had my computer in to be fixed over break and its hard drive failed so I am in the process of getting everything back to normal (while finishing papers, etc. haha)... and I will add in advance, there are a lot of pics

I can also through together my impressions of the trip (I stayed with 1Ls, who were frickin awesome, and did some fun stuff) if anyone is interested!

congrats all

I can attest to the fact that munger is pretty cool. if i have class at 830 i can leave at 827 and not be late. in the beginning, there will be many parties, most of which will be in munger.

I can also attest to the fact that the fun wears off sometime after the first few months (ymmv). shit's expensive. people are great, but it only compounds the "living in a bubble" feeling.

If you were re-doing 1L housing selection, would you pick EV or Rains with non-law students over Munger?

I'm kinda thinking (if I attend Stanford) I'll end up staying at Stanford/Palo Alto first two years and then maybe move further a field; but Munger for a year seems like it might be nicer than not..?

Very scared of the bubble, though.

That would definitely be helpful! I am in Haiti right now, away from my mail (there isn't really any mail here) and with limited internet so all new information is appreciated by me!

Same thoughts.... I feel like it's the thing to do 1st year, and then after that you move on. Is everyone else getting this vibe?
