Has anyone had their status checker updated since being complete? I'm still on 10/21/11 complete and haven't heard anything since...

WL via email. Never been so happy to be not accepted... Expected a rejection. Woo!
Edit: Also, does anyone know if WL means if accepted you pay the sticker price? Cause that would be not ideal...

Hi all,
RD waitlisted today by email, 1/24/2012 and application completed on 1/9/2012 (3.85/163; no update on the online status checker). Not too surprised considering the low LSAT and the fact that I'm from a no-name tiny university. But it's better than being rejected, so I'll be riding this one out until the end. Congrats to all who have been accepted already!
Also, is it just me or did GW send me an ultra fast decision? It literally took two weeks.

My theory: GW admissions randomly picks files to review and decide upon out of a very large top hat. That is the only plausible explanation for my uber-luck.hoos89 wrote:particularly for a wait list, seems odd that they would give a quick decision to someone who wasn't auto accept or auto decline. oh well, this is probably going to be an interesting cycle in the end. early numbers are showing that apps are way down.moxy wrote:That is a quick turnaround!trinakat wrote:Hi all,

Waitlist today Puerto-Rican URM 164 3.55, with pretty decent softs and a sad sap story about my dad abandoning my family and raising my little brother while my mom worked.

Re: GW c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
Well I'm slightly below both medians.looking at LSN, they seem to mostly be accepting people with a 168+ or a 3.8+ and are very splitter friendly. I was hoping for at least a waitlist but with such a fast turnaround I think I was an auto deny
I went complete on January 1st.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
