Does anyone know about Duke's upper scholarships? I know that the Mordecai are full scholarships, but do they give other (named or unnamed) scholarships around a full offer? What are the numbers to be competitive for a Mordecai? What's the timing for a Mordecai offer?

Thanks!

Accepted in late September. Still haven't received scholarship / financial aid app email. Anyone else in the same situation? I'm getting anxious.

Hey I was accepted recently and my acceptance email said: "The Financial Aid Office will send you the scholarship application form via email in November..." so it could be that they are doing a massive wave of emails at that time.

Hope that helps :)

Can anyone provide guidance on Duke top scholarships? Looking at LSN, I'm very confused. These are from 2013.

LSAT-GPA-Sent

$150,000+
175-3.86-11/12
180-3.84-9/8
171-3.85-NA
172-3.95-10/6
168-3.77-11/11
177-3.84-12/1
180-3.89-9/5
179-3.97-NA
173-3.9-9/27
173-3.9-12/9

$120,000+
174-3.81-NA
172-4.0-NA
170-3.94-10/4
170-3.9-11/8
180-3.93-11/26
170-3.91-1/5
172-3.99-1/6
174-3.9-11/17
173-3.85-11/17

Any predictive value from this? I'm also confused because UVA, a state school that is ranked higher and has better LST numbers, provides better scholarships based on LSN.

I'm also perplexed by Duke's relatively stingy scholarship offers. I wish they offered mordecais to people with the same stats as dilliard recipients. I guess they spread the wealth across.the board ratheelr than just to high scorers/gpas.

Eta : i read somewhere on tls that duke has highest percentage of students with some sort of grant offer

Offhand i know two dilliards: Jlwx is a urm and he got a dilliard with a 170, 3.37. Xylo (non URM) got it with a 174, 3.9.

I know nothing about mordecai recipients.

Has anyone received the scholarship information yet? I received a large packet, but it did not include the scholarship application form that the PT provisional acceptance email mentioned... Or did I miss it?

Right... that's no different from what they said previously. I thought that there was more to it than simply applying for financial aid (don't we have to schedule an interview too?). Have you already done it? Was it online?

They're not doing that for months. The most you can do now is send in a form with a checkbox that says you will be applying, but even that's not necessary (yet).

I got a confirmation the day after I submitted, but I applied after a PT invite. So if you applied RD, then maybe it takes longer?
