Yeah this is why TLS is good. It lets me known when I should check my promotions folder because so much stuff goes directly there.

That might not necessarily be true, I've been getting emails about various events (including two previously about this specific one) over the course of the past two months, before plenty of other admits happened. Idk what it means at this point though.

So I hadn't gone on TLS and didn't know it was fake, but given they accidentally fake notified me through a similarly weird email last year (but that was unique to me and didn't hit everyone) I didn't believe it was true, and when I called in and tried to get through and the system hung up on me multiple times I figured it was fake.

I genuinely think I'm withdrawing my application. I do not have the patience or desire to go thru 3 years of this and the chances of me picking it over Penn at this point (where I only had lovely positive interactions w admin) is almost nonexistent. It's not even the fucked up email - it's the lack of apology or clarification, plus them not answering their phones. you could literally change your outbox, but they're trying to protect their reputation. I think it's just really rude and disrespectful.

Okay, so y'all DID get that email as well? I was literally about to come in here and complain about getting an admitted student invite when I got rejected at least a month ago. Luckily, I'm not too torn up about the rejection at this point or that stupid ass email would be salt in a fresh wound lol.
