Does anyone think we will hear anything this week? JS1s maybe? I believe there could be some action soon since some people have been on the waitlist for over a month

May I just say that Harvard acknowledged the receipt of my LOCI in 4 minutes? I'm pretty happy about that considering Yale hasn't even acknowledged I'm on their wait list.

Looks like we are in the same boat (h and y waitlisted). Did you happen to notice that harvard has a "wait list " whereas yale has a "waitlist?' Cleary one of them must be wrong.

Anyway, it seems like making the waitlist at yale suggests you are a pretty strong candidate for Harvard, given the relative class sizes. Thoughts?

It's the eternal H/Y war. Unfortunately I'm an international so the wait list is bad either way. Why nab someone who needs a visa over an amurkan? That being said, making one wait list (or waitlist) isn't indicative of your chances getting off another one - it's a matter of circumstance.

I was actually in the middle of writing my LOCI so now idk if I should send the letter or not--any thoughts?

Sent my LOCI this morning :P Not sure if that had any influence on my JS1 [12:51EST]. I would wait until AFTER your interview so you can make it a thank-you note and you can discuss things you missed during the interview!

JS1 here as well. Heads up that they are sending emails with a correct link to the scheduler. The original link was incorrect, hence the scheduling problems.

Also got a JS1 request today. Noticed they said they were 20 minutes in the first email, 15 minutes in the second email.

So the furthest you can schedule your interview is only three days from now? That might suggest there is another wave of JS1 next week possibly. Thanks for the information.
