Wondering what, if anything, this means at chances of admission? Do they increase with an interview or do most people get one?
Chances are significantly increased with an interview according to last year's thread.

It's exciting that they're interviewing earlier than last year. I don't know why.

Interview Help: Advice from last year
pacifica wrote:Had interview with KB today. Don't think I did too hot . Started with specific law school Qs related to my background, which I thought I did well on, but when it got to general questions like "proudest accomplishment," I probably sounded quite vague (and/or repetitive) to her because I was very hesitant about regurgitating my resume, so I went with general themes instead. She was super nice and very pleasant to talk to though. 14 minutes total, about half was her asking Qs, and half me asking Qs.

Best of luck to everyone awaiting! Hope I was helpful. Might be a loooong wait for me for a JS2/KB2 if I get one at all...
Legendary Lavitz wrote:Also just finished my interview but it was with KB--who is pretty awesome herself.

Questions I remember her asking:

"Tell me about your job."

"How have your experiences at that job informed your decision to go to law school?"

"What are you looking forward to at Harvard?"

"Is there a particular area of study you find most attractive?"

"What do you think your greatest challenge would be at Harvard?"

"What accomplishment are you most proud of?"

"What do you envision a successful career for yourself would look like?"

"Is there anything you were hoping I would ask? In other words, is there anything not in your app that you'd like us to know about you?"

"Do you have any questions for me?" (Asked her like 4 questions)

Interview lasted about 14:30.

I asked about:

0L Summer Research Assistant positions

The accessibility of the professors

How the clinics compare to those of other schools

How I would fit in given that I don't come from an "elite" undergrad

Those of you with JS1s, how early in the cycle did you apply? Sorry we're bombarding you with questions, but you get what you sign up for here.

whoa, you didn't get one? I thought that with your stats you'd have one for sure. Or did you just apply recently?

Haha no. I only applied within the last two weeks and Harvard says they go roughly in order of submission. I did go complete today though.

By "went complete", are people referring to the date that they got an "application complete" email or the date that the status on the status checker changed to "Application Complete"?
