I'll be happy to report back about WUSTL once I start in August for anyone that is interested.

Go check out their brand new b-school building first, that should be in your report. Because it is AWESOME. And highly related to law school.

I've already salivated at pics online, I will surely be seeing it in person slash may also spend some time hanging out there because it's just so pretty.

Thanks! And yea, obviously campuses shouldn't really be a factor in the decision making process for all of us, but it'll definitely be nice to spend every day on such a nice campus.

Checking in...

Applied this past cycle, decided to put off law school for three years. Might reapply this cycle and defer.

Scholarships and the fact that I wanted to move to a new city and get that out of my system first. hbu?

Still targeting UT? Feb LSAT was a significant improvement.

Yeah definitely. Living in Texas now so that in-state resident status should do wonders :)

I just posted on the chances thread and I've had two users tell me about how although overall applications are still trending down, the number of 170+ applicants actually went up this year. How does this figure into the outlook for our cycle? Any thoughts?

I keep trying to figure out whether we're already bottoming out in the law school market, though most of what I've read so far indicates that people expect (relatively) weak cycles for at least a year or two more...

Thanks Mike, awesome news!
Does the number of testtakers going down actually tangibly affect admissions for this cycle? What kind of impact would there be?
just look at declining medians the last few years

And just look on LSN at scholly numbers too. Not only are some people getting into schools that they wouldn't have gotten into a few years ago, they're also getting money. That's definitely the case for me.

I can do better than my earlier news and your recipe.

"The volume of first-time test takers in June 2014 was down approximately 14% from June 2013."

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
