so for stanford, there's UR and then theres either a phone call acceptance or a status checker DLS (rejection)? that's it until they start the waitlist later on?

Yep, or snail mail rejection letter if you never check your status checker.

DLS just now. 1st rejection of the cycle. Guess i need to go buy some warm clothes for next year.

gatorgirl and biggie, sorry to hear the bad news... at least you guys have gotten acceptances from SLS peer schools, so it's all good! You are still amazing.

By the way, if we go by last year's cycle, the next few weeks--starting today--are probably going to be absolutely brutal.
On LSN, there were 54 reported decisions from SLS between 3/15 and 4/6. The breakdown is staggering.
Rejections: 48
Acceptances: 4
Waitlists: 2
But if we can survive this upcoming stretch, things do look a bit rosier.
Either way, looks like there might be a storm a-comin'.
