I've been waiting for 4 months now. Hold asha accountable! Also how is this enough time to come to AsP
Also, you're being a bit naive here -- if you haven't heard from them by now, there's almost no chance you'll get an outright acceptance, so ASP is irrelevant. Best you can realistically hope for is the waitlist.
Why couldn't I get an outright acceptence. If anything my chances for an outright acceptence are just as good as waitlist. I think it's safe to assume I'm not getting outright rejected. What's good Asha!
just.

happening.
To the person above, someone here reported an acceptance (right?)

Someone fucking tweet asha and ask her what's good with our apps. She made us a promise. I'm banned from twitter for asking spivy too many times if we're in a countercycle

Curious phrasing, "in the next couple of weeks." Maybe for admits who can't make ASP?

280. And given this thread's dogmatic devotion to that number, it looks like at least 26 people are in for an unpleasant surprise when they get the Yale's infamous "Psyche!" letter in a couple of weeks.Whittie wrote:What was the cap last year?hammy393 wrote:FYI - 306 people are in the facebook group. And the way "*fab*" is there with the asterisks. It has to be a clue. Maybe, "final acceptances belated" or something.seeprybyrun wrote:https://twitter.com/DeanAsha/status/853993109423878144

Or maybe, hear me out: This is a reference to the famed Beatles tribute band, "The Fab Four," and their cover of the Beatles' hit "Eight Days A Week," further reenforced by the reference to "weeks" in her tweet. Now, by extension, we must also consider the Ron Howard-produced documentary of the same name, in conjunction with which the remastered edition of the Beatles' Hollywood Bowl concert was released on September 9, 2016, exactly 16 days--two 8-day weeks--before the September LSAT. And in order to drive from Yale to the Hollywood Bowl, the penultimate street you travel is Cahuenga Blvd. Any other "C" boulevards ring a bell to the September takers out there? That's right, bitches.
Confirmed: Penultimate admit wave will be those pending apps who defended the only logical choice by supporting the Carlene Blvd construction project in their writing sample.
Final wave will be a single admit to Sir Paul himself.

So...if I still survived behind all those ding waves, I can safely assume that my app at least passed Asha's review?

Safely? No. But none of us is safe in assuming anything in regards to Yale.yhchoi1687 wrote:So...if I still survived behind all those ding waves, I can safely assume that my app at least passed Asha's review?

The only goddamn thing it's safe to assume is that we're in a countercycle and it's also safe to assume my Twitter is blocked from asking spivy so much to confirm.

I'm not expecting even a WL, but doesn't there have to be today or tomorrow? I thought there was a tweet at some point that all decisions would be made before ASPpretzeltime wrote:twould be chill to have a wave today.

mmmm I think the tweets said all admits will know before ASP. so I suppose not hearing anything by the 20th is a de facto answer for those of us not interested in the WLlsa16 wrote:I'm not expecting even a WL, but doesn't there have to be today or tomorrow? That's so shitty. TO be like "Everyone who's admitted will be admitted by this date. If you're not admitted, you know the deal."pretzeltime wrote:mmmm I think the tweets said all admits will know before ASP. so I suppose not hearing anything by the 20th is a de facto answer for those of us not interested in the WLlsa16 wrote:I'm not expecting even a WL, but doesn't there have to be today or tomorrow? That's like someone being like "If I want to date you, I'll be at Starbucks by 7pm. If I'm not there by then, I either don't want to date you or I will change my mind at a later date."

Operative word was "should." And as someone who "should" drink less coffee but is currently drinking my first of many cups for the day, I put little faith in "should."lsa16 wrote:I'm not expecting even a WL, but doesn't there have to be today or tomorrow? my understanding is that all decisions are (were) supposed to be made before ASP, no matter if positive or negative:pretzeltime wrote:mmmm I think the tweets said all admits will know before ASP. so I suppose not hearing anything by the 20th is a de facto answer for those of us not interested in the WLlsa16 wrote:I'm not expecting even a WL, but doesn't there have to be today or tomorrow?
