Sent in my app December 2nd, received email saying they'd received it on the 8th and haven't heard anything yet. I know they're behind but this seems excessive, think I should call?

Sent out all my apps in two batches, early Sept and early Oct.. have been accepted only at GULC, which is the only school which would cost me near full price (I think it would end up being about 35k a year)... been complete at Mich since 10/21, over 11 weeks ago... updated with new slightly higher GPA this Monday... fuck, I'm starting to look pretty hard at the extended ED option at UVA, but still holding out hope for northwestern.. everywhere else = hopelessness...

Michigan needs to get their shit together. This whole 'taking their time thing' is not making anyone very happy. And they are going to be fucking themselves over when all the desperate people start EDing to UVA. yes, im bitter. I also just counted and its been 4 weeks since I submitted and I have yet to go complete or get a status checker. not cool michigan, not cool.

My status went to decision, and the admitted student thing gives me a seerver error message when I try to logon (never seen that before). Oh, the suspense.

I suspect a rejection though.

went complete in early November. My numbers are decent enough (169/3.85) that I was expecting a waitlist. But the wording on the status checker makes it seem like the waitlist will show up on the checker.

I still don't actually know if I'm rejected. The admitted students site gives me this error:

Server Error in '/' Application.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Additions to this Web site have been blocked.
Please contact the administrator to resolve this problem.

And then when I even click the link to the admitted site that error comes up. I have to terminate my browser to get back to the login, but the error message just comes up again. Is that what happens to rejected applicants or something? Seems weird.

I think when youre rejected you get the same red text as always. It sounds like the website is just down in general.

The weird thing about the error message is that it reads like an error message with the server where I'm working (theres more code and stuff than I posted, and the format is the same as when there's problems with the local intranet here) rather than an error on the Michigan site. I'm sure the error is on their end, but it's a very strange error that I haven't seen before on a web site.

I'm still at Complete and I'm still getting the red text on the admitted students site.

yeah theres probably something wrong on your end. if you were rejected it would be regular red text.

Sorry if this has been covered earlier, but my status checker date for UM keeps updating for "complete" status. I went complete about a month ago, but then yesterday the date was updated to Jan 7th, still remaining complete. Today it was updated again, still complete. For Duke, this meant a decision was imminent. Is it the same for Michigan?
