Ha! And they told us in the e-mail that they could not determine if they would make any offers from the wait list until after May 15!
Anyway, congratulations for your admission!!

I think aulburch is a high GPA reverse splitter (from post history - 3.9/158). Do you this means they hit their LSAT goals and are looking for GPA?

as a 3.4/168, this makes me sad...

Does anyone know if there are deadlines if we're accepted from the WL? I know some schools give you 48 hours to respomd and require you withdraw other apps. Anyone know what GW's stipulations are?

I don't know for sure, but in past years it looks like they used July 15th as a deadline for all waitlist applicants accepted in June. For example, last year their second seat deposit deadline was June 15th, and after that GW extended a whole bunch of offers to waitlisters, and they all had until July 15th to respond. So, it would seem that at the very least, GW isn't one of those "you have one day to decide" type schools.

He's right, I'm a a 3.9/158 splitter with 2 years of WE. That said, I went and visited for a day. It was totally worth it. As opposed to a lot of other schools I visited, GW's admissions office was great. They met with me, gave me a tour, interviewed me, and after my visit, they actually responded to my emails (not an autoanswer).
Good luck to everyone still on the waitlist!

Seriously?
I've got a visit scheduled for the 17th - I'd love to get an interview; any tips on how to make that happen?

I would say simply asking would probably be the easiest method. GW was always really nice and accommodating when I spoke to them. I'm sure that if you asked to speak to an admissions counselor they would indulge you; if the won't, then that's a pretty bad sign.

That actually makes sense. I was one of the very last admitted according lsn, and I have 3.93/161.

According to LSN, 4 people were accepted off of the wait list this morning:

as an anxious waitlister, I was curious when the 2nd seat deposit is?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
