Got an email from the Dean last night saying my acceptance letter is in the mail. Will be nice to see the package when it arrives.

(I went complete on 1-28-10 and applied for the PT program)

Went complete on 1/15 but applied FT. No e-mail or letter yet or any other changes.

Just got my letter of acceptance from Chicago-Kent yesterday in the mail. Took about a week from status checker to mail in the mailbox. I also got a full tuition scholarship, with the only stipulation that i remain enrolled at Chicago-Kent. Needless to say Chicago-Kent went number one with a bullet on my list!

Congrats! Do you mind sharing your LSAT/GPA and whether or not you are URM?

Yes. My status was originally in review on 1/27, then again on 2/15. What do we make of this?

Mine also changed, but to a earlier date than yours. Does it mean they are looking at our files again?

Has anyone tried calling about this? The admissions folk are quite nice.

I had a similar experience.

First UR - 12/17, then updated in January (mid-Jan IIRC), decision rendered a few weeks later.

Can't say for certain what it means, or anything, but my thought is that the second update is "Oh, now we're getting into the stack this file is in"-stage.

Got my letter of acceptance today. A choice between 20k per year based on academic performance or 12k a year guaranteed. My heart wants to go out west (contingent on getting off the YPlist in one place and a pending decision in the other), but staying in the area and getting money from a quality school is quite tempting for practicality.

A letter got to my house today telling me I didn't get to the interview stage of the honors scholars thing. Not a surprise, but it said something about applying for a full tuition scholarship? Is this the same thing without the prestige/stipend?? What are the odds of getting it?

If there's still an outside shot at full tuition, I feel like I should stay with Kent and see how it plays out.

Accepted via status checker and dean's email. Anyone know if they are having any admitted students events this spring? Also, when's the deposit deadline? Haven't gotten my packet yet but am attempting to plan a trip for early March.

There are two options: a $250 by April 15 and a $500 by June 15 (which I will do so I can gauge the waitlists); and a $650 lump sum on April 15.
