must go to sleep -- can't stay awake to find out -- hopefully I'll wake up to an email from my parents telling me that Chicago called, and to reading all of the happy acceptance posts on this forum.

Last year they posted to their Twitter right before beginning to make calls. It's actually really helpful, wish I could say other schools were as clear about what is going on.

It wasnt Dean Perry, it was the Assistant Director of Admissions. Just said that Dean Perry would email me this afternoon and that papers and admitted students website in Jan.

Last name starts with A, in the West Coast, submitted 10/26, 174/3.45

I imagine people who are not accepted would know, since a mass email like that would be sent out at once. And it can't take long for each person to receive it.

Good luck everyone. I was too shocked/nervous/crazy to ask how they were doing calls. But if it's alpha, makes sense that I would be first since I start with A. Heres to many more of you joining in the celebration!

Not yet. SHe said the Dean was calling later this afternoon. Since the call happened like 5 minutes ago, I figured it would be closer to like 4-5pm CST (since they're probably off making calls now)
