How do you know something was sent on the 9th? Did you get an e-mail?

Called and asked. I'm not sure why so many people are freaked out about doing that. It's not like reps are gonna say "This person called... how DARE he" and subsequently tell the adcomms to deny the person.

Just got a white enveloped dated Dec. 9. I applied ED but they put me on hold.

Does anyone know what percentage of ED applicants are held vs. rejected?

my application complete e-mail came exactly 3 weeks after my application received e-mail (12/8 and 11/17 respectively)

Yeah, it's not unusual for it to take 3-4 weeks to go complete after getting the received email. I'd give it a couple weeks (if not more given the upcoming holidays) before I bothered them for an update.

Nope, not at all. NYU is slow as molasses.
