Where do you live? somewhere where you'd probably get it on the first day or no?

Probably- I'm in PA. I mean, there's always the decent chance they just aren't sending me a VCE. :|

You, sir, greatly overestimate the service of the USPS. Delivery confirmation costs extra. Also, Columbia mails VCEs via regular old first class mail. There's no speed advantage to priority mail, it's just what they call the surcharge tacked onto everything greater than 13 oz.

After shipping some 30+ old books in the last month, I can say there is definitely a speed advantage to priority shipping. It can vary from place to place, but generally, the further away it is, the more of an advantage priority seems to have. However, if its within the same city, and probably even the same state, it probably won't make much difference.

Regardless, even regular mail can arrive quickly. When I got my package from Cardozo, it was sent regular the day before. 24-hours is a fast turnaround in my opinion.
