As long as they aren't using names or going too much into detail or actually poking fun at them I'd like to hear about some essay don'ts. It makes it easier for other people to write a good essay in the future. If they want to mock students they should do it in private but publicly it would be helpful to hear about things that shouldn't go into personal essays.

I don't know maybe because I'm not too private of a person I don't think I'd mind if my bad essay became a lesson for others as long as it wasn't easily identifiable as mine. And as long as the admissions officer wasn't openly mocking me. :p

Maybe offer a liability waiver? / media release? that you don't mind your essay to be used publicly as an example for others?

Here's a life lesson though, never buy someone a ring online when you attached your email to their phone.
Met as freshman high school students on a class trip to Maui. Our friends were friends with eachother. Started dating our sophomore year of HS. Started living together our second year of college and got two cats later that year. Got married this past September in a beautiful state park that's nearby that has a historical log cabin.

Also 12 years of dating before marriage to be exact, 13 years as friends. Are you forgetting? Do I need to become a cliche sitcom wife?
That's adoradble! And semi close to my story but we're only going on six years. I love high school sweetheart stories.

Yeah we're like you two only older.

Also someone asked why we took so long to get married. Mostly just wanted to wait to finish college and then work a few years to save up so we could have a nice wedding and a long honeymoon. The long honeymoon was definitely worth the wait. We considered getting married earlier and then waiting a few years to go on the honeymoon but decided there was nothing wrong with waiting a few more years to just do it all at once.

Going on 3 years. Its been on and off LD for 6-9 months at a time due to each of us having various internships in different locations at different times. He's interning at an investment bank in NYC now while I'm stuck in school in Philly. We are both just so busy that I see him once or twice a month. He isn't a TLSer (he calls it my nerd blog haha) but he has been really supportive of what I'm going through even though he doesn't understand all of it.

But, I've never dated a TLSer so I might be missing out on something. Maybe I should try it out.

It's good that he's supportive. TLSer is good and all but supportive is the important part. I started going on here to help my research into law schools that he should consider. It's hard to discuss what schools to seriously consider unless I know much about the different options.
