Is there a rule against erasing lol?koala-fy wrote:I know we're not allowed to discuss the specific topic, but just a question about the writing section in general... does everyone get the same topic? Just wondering because there's the topic code and everything, so you'd think they'd be different, but then there's always writing prompt when you buy a PT.
Also, super proud that I remembered not to erase this time. My last one was not pretty. Poor kid next to me was erasing like crazy

Of the three LRs I had, I seem to recall:
LR1: Greek/roman columns/arches, grapefruit and medicine
LR2: dolphins and electric
LR3: dinsosaur that couldn't eat tree tops, bears pelvic structure.
LR2: experimental
I had LR1: greek roman, grapefruit, etc. LR2: definetely no dolphins or electricity and LR3: definetely had dinasours and pelvic strucutres.
Do you remember more details about the dolphin and/or electricity question?
Isn't it possible that not everyone has the same order of LR sections? So, for example, for one person, Greek roman/grapefruit was in L1, but for another those questions were in L2?
I think people generally agree that L3, with 26 questions was not experimental.
I can't seem to figure out whether L1 or L2 was experimental, mostly because I can hardly frikking remember any of the questions.

Thanks man! I read your original post and have been looking at what others have said I want to put up my order and what I thought about each section including basic words like "darwin", etc. Is that ok?Dirigo wrote:Not at all. Welcome to the family.LSATgotrocked wrote:Hey everyone!
Is it too late to check in lol? Didn;t have the time to get into the discussion because I was very busy after the exam.

Went to the store right after and got two huge bottles of wine and moscato...

I see. Just wondering because I didn;t erase too many lines but I had about three that I made sure were erased well enough.Dirigo wrote:It doesn't scan well. If you erase well, I don't see a problem. I've erased tons of times on college exams and haven't had a problem. I've also admittedly erased once during this test and don't see a problem (unless I changed from right to wrong ). One would like to think something like LSAC would have better scantron readers than your typical university.Dirigo wrote:It doesn't scan well. Re: DECEMBER 2014 WAITERS
I had LR LG RC RC LR
My thoughts: first LR was easy I finished it with time to spare. The logic games weren’t incredibly easy or hard. They were medium and I finished in the allotted time. The first RC had something about an economic thing where two people benefit and a guy's surname "fish". I felt like I didn’t do well on this one and guessed on a lot of qs. The second RC was with Mexicans and perfume stuff I liked the thunder passage and I felt that this one was better than the first RC (which was experimental?). The last LR wasn’t as easy as the first lr but I guessed on 2 of them. Overall I don’t think it was terrible but we’ll have to wait and see. I think RC was the most difficult (it really depends on who you are) nut the curve should be higher than -12 looking at historical trends and comparing this to pt 73 which was on par with this exam.

Its not the scantron thats the problem. Its the writing sample.DivineJustice wrote:If you erase well, I don't see a problem. I've erased tons of times on college exams and haven't had a problem. Re: DECEMBER 2014 WAITERS
LR - fine.
LG - DEATH. Sped through the first two, which were fine, but then skipped to the fourth b/c it had 8 questions....didn't finish the 4th or the 3rd. SO frustrated.
LR - Glad it turned out to be experimental, was freaking out the whole time and then telling myself not to freak out, both took up brain space.
RC - easy, and pretty fun...perfume was hilarious. Love the abhorrence the guy has for the "bean counters from Zurich." Cracked up at that.
LR - fine.
Essentially finished LG, thinking "THAT WAS EXPERIMENTAL" over and over again...until I reached LR3 and all my hopes withered away...
As for my TC, a guy walks up with a grocery bag instead of the 1 gallon Ziplock....& has no ID pic on his admission ticket. Says (indignantly), "I have an ID, why do I need a picture?" The proctor's not letting him in and finally he says, "I can print one from social media." Lucky for him they had a computer lab in the building. Guy comes back at 8:35 and then we start.
I'm still really upset about the LG, but hoping with the predictions of a -13 curve that a decent score can be salvaged from the wreckage....
TLS, BBQ, & G&Ts for the night. Not going ANYWHERE.

I fucking had to guess on 4 of the rug questions; that has never happened to me. I threw C down in desperation and really hope I get some with that. I really hope someone is able to tell me not to hate myself as much as I do right now.

Has it been established that the second of the three was the experimental?literarylawyer wrote: LR - Glad it turned out to be experimental, was freaking out the whole time and then telling myself not to freak out, both took up brain space.
