Hopeless RC, retake advice?

Post by charles_monster » Fri Mar 28, 2014 11:47 pm

I took the Feb test already and scored a 170, which was not that bad. But I totally bombed my RC, I know that. And now I'm redoing all the PTs, my RC is simply HOPELESS.. I can score consistently -0 on LG and -2(or -1) on LR(2 sections in total), but my RC.. at least -5, sometimes I even got -10... No idea what is going on here because I have been trying to use all the techniques Trainer or Manhattan have taught me, like read for the structure, pay special attention to the author's tone and stuff like that.. But I did not see much progress, any advice from someone who was bad at RC and found his way out later? Anything will be very much appreciated!

Rc takes a lot more practice to master. Don't give up till you run out of passages, it was the last thing to come around with my practice and it sure helps your score when it does.
