Checking in. Took the September test but I'm not expecting the score I want. I was so burned out the weeks leading up to the test, so I've been on a long LSAT break since the 27th. Will resume hardcore studying with the rest of you guys on Monday!

Never know till you try :D

Seriously though, what are your weak areas? Are you struggling with LG (b/c that's one of the easiest to fix), etc

ETA- have you drilled any? What books have you read?
I am half way done with both PS LG and Manhattan LR. Just started Manhattan RC. Haven't really drilled, only the drills provided by the books.

After reading the material, what should be my next move? With so little time left...
drill... start now. read a section and then take time to drill that type of problem you just read on (more than the books drills)
the books are good to get basics and that but you want to be working on getting used the problems and actually starting to recognize things instead of just reading about needing to recognize things. Books are great but you want to add more drills into the process IMO

Welcome! :) Enjoy your much needed rest (and last bit of freedom, lol) this weekend & we'll see you bright and early Monday!
Thanks! How long have most of you been studying? I took a 3 month prep course and didn't feel like I'd reached my full potential by the end. I think these extra two months will be perfect for me. I'm so impressed with those who can self study for 3 months and perform amazingly.

nlee10, I'm up in the pacific northwest and it is SO COLD. Outside is okay I think, but for some reason my house is really really cold. I'm living at home this semester, but for like all of my undergrad degree I was living in a dorm on campus and I LOVED cranking up the heat as my school paid for everything. Could be like -30 outside, and 30+ in my room. But this weather right now...wet & cold, not good. But yeah, summer was an issue too, would just start sweating when a hard logic game came along...
WHERE IN THE PNW ARE YOU FROM?!?!?!
:o
OMGGGG ARE WE FROM THE SAME CITY???
Vancouver. But I go to school somewhere else. I believe you are all really familiar with the place! It is a fantastic city with a craycray mayor!

I cancelled plans this weekend to go to a theme park tomorrow because I "couldn't sacrifice an entire day." I'm officially a hermit.

Kind of funny...after telling a friend I wasn't going and discussing how stressed I was that I only had two months left, he replied "well I only studied a month and got a 155, just saying. It's not perfect, but as long as you' can get there you're good." I didn't have the heart to tell him otherwise.
aww, hint at TLS maybe he will discover a new found motivation, retake and 180

Technically the bf and I are doing date #3 i think it was. He lives 3hrs away and between his work schedule, studying for the FL Board exam, and my hectic schedule we have NO time for each other. so we decided once I take the LSAT we'll do a celebratory date. (we do text and Skype 2x a wk tho)

Is this the spontaneous wedding you were talking about the other day? If so, how's the groom doing?
yes. on the way to the wedding we had to stop and buy more liquor for him to guzzle down. he sulked down the aisle. and when the minister asked the 'I do' question he said "do i really have to?" the bride replied "YES" then he was like "fine, i do"
everyone clapped and i left lol

Im heading upstate to my school sunday evening... which in one aspect isn't doing too much since I don't get much study time on sundays anyways (plus I may peek at my packets on the 5hr drive) but monday is gunna be a struggle to fit in some studying since it'll be the only full day I'll be there and once it hits like 6 my free time ends... the struggle is real my friends

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
