Admissions Ticket Photo

Post by kaschmelz » Sat Dec 07, 2013 5:57 am

Would a black and white image suffice? I notice all the examples on the LSAC website are in color, but I am not seeing anything necessarily prohibiting it anywhere on the website or admissions ticket either. I don't have access to a color printer, am I likely to be turned away for this?

People have reported using black and white photos before without a problem. The rules don't specify color so you should be fine, it just says it has to be clear and resemble you.

The rules specify "a recent passport-type photograph", but never specify what makes a photograph "passport-type". Does it just mean "square and fairly small", or does it also imply a color photograph, since passport photos have to be in color?

As long as it's recognizably you, it'll probably be okay, but as easy as it is to get a color photo, I never even considered using a B&W one.
