A Blueprint Logic Games book? Can it be true? MORE FREE 3/28

Postby bp shinners » Wed Feb 20, 2013 6:24 pm

MORE FREE COPIES AVAILABLE - "Like" us on Facebook, +1 us on Google+, and email Blueprint the links to your profiles for verification, and you'll be entered to win one of 5 free copies. More details are in the blog post. Drawing is next Thursday, April 11.

Hey TLS,

Blueprint wrote a book. It’s about Logic Games, and it’s sweet.

We’re offering 25 free copies (we'll even cover shipping) of The Blueprint for Logic Games to the TLS community. We could pretend that it’s because you’re all a bunch of well-meaning, deserving individuals we’re helping out for altruistic reasons, but we all know this to be a lie. We want to promote our publication; you want to get a great score on the LSAT. Let’s pull together in the harness of convenience: We’ll dish out free books, you give us unbiased reviews.

Post in the thread AND send me a PM if you’re interested. Books will be distributed according to the following criteria:

1) You’re taking the LSAT this year, preferably June.
2) You’re active on the TLS community. You don’t need to be a mega-poster, but if I’ve seen you around, you’re more likely to get one.
3) You’re not an agent of a test prep company. Yep, Noah, you’ll have to pony up the $64.99 ($49.99 through June 1st) if you want to get your hands on this bad boy.
4) You must be in the continental US (for shipping purposes).

In exchange for the book, we ask (but do not require) that you write up an unbiased review (more details on this in the PM).

BOOK INFO:
The Blueprint for LSAT Logic Games is approx. 600 pages, covering every strategy you need for Analytical Reasoning by working through 35 official Logic Games. There are numerous drills, and we use our trademark Blueprint Building Blocks™ method (new for the book) to break apart the games. You’ll also receive online access* to video explanations done by Blueprint founder Matt Riley for every game in the book. Finally, we provide an index of every game released through prep test 68 (December 2012), including the game type and the strategies to unlock that game.

I’ll let you know when the 25 copies are gone. For those of you who miss out on the free copies, we’ve set up a discount code for TLS users. For the next two weeks, TLS users can have another 20% off the book’s introductory price of $49.99, bringing the book and online access to just $39.99 (+$4.99 shipping) through March 8th. Type in code “TLS20” during checkout to redeem the discount. http://blueprintprep.com/lsat-book

-EDIT 2- Because USPS has proven less than reliable, we're using a new shipping solution - FedEx. Shipping prices will increase because of this to $7.99, but you should receive your book faster and in one piece.

When you shoot me a PM, please include your name, e-mail address, zip code, phone number, and which LSAT you plan to take.

*Online access lasts a year from registration.

Boilerplate stuff: We reserve the right to refuse this offer to anyone for any reason. Before accepting this offer, you will need to sign a short agreement stipulating to a few conditions. Blueprint reserves the right to end or extend this promotion at any time.

pm sent
and posted in this thread

I am willing to write an UNBIASED review compared to MLSAT, Powerscore, Kaplan, and many of the other courses other than BP that I was exposed to.

edit: I was also exposed to the complete logic games section of 7Sage and I am willing to write a comprehensive comparison in detail

Sounds fun, will the content be any different than what is found in the books for your course?

The strategies and methods will be the same (albeit less interactive), but it will be presented in a slightly different manner. Without an instructor to guide you through the work, we needed to come up with another way to do it. Each logic game is extensively laid out in a step-by-step manner over many pages, with a discussion of strategies for each step.

I would be glad to write a review. I am currently synthesizing methods from the Powerscore books, MLSAT and the BP online course for the June test.

Don't post enough to qualify but doesn't hurt to try!

Thanks for sharing the copies to the TLS community.

Oh, don't let that stop you! That's just a criteria listed in case we received a whole bunch of people with a single post that looked fishy. We don't discriminate against lurkers!

I am highly interested and just sent you a PM :)
But thanks so much for your input on my previous POST on how to gain speed/accuracy on LG.
I am thrilled to learn more about your method, and the difference... :)

I'll bite, I've been killing LG but reinforcement is always a good idea. I'm interested to see what you have to offer.

Just PMed. Just decided to retake the June LSAT and the logics games is the only section keeping me from a 170.

one can only dream that a BP LR Bible gets released, LSAC might have to make a completely whole new test

1. Hi I'm taking the LSAT in June
2. I'm decently active, I've been posting around here
3. I am not affiliated with any test prep company
4. I live in US (California)

I hope I get one!
