Arrested Development season four comes out all at once, on May 26. Two weeks before LSAT. Well played, Ron Howard. 10/10 troll.

It's a part-time shit job. It's inconvenient because I wanted to stay another month to ease my financial issues for the summer before I start taking out BIGLOAN, but it's not a huge deal. And I'm kind of looking forward to having a summer for the first time since I was 15.

I was watching TV for a bit tonight, and heard a commercial saying "we have the largest selection, so we get it the fastest to you!"

Immediately thought... "the argument requires the following assumption...?"

LSAT is getting to me. 47 more days.

Haha I do the same thing. "People who eat whole grain tend to weigh less than people who don't. So if you want to lose weight, eat Multi-Grain Cheerios!"

Drilling logical reasoning in the middle of class is my new favorite thing to do... no time goes to waste!

And is it me or do Logical Reasoning sections from more recent test seem more understandable than older ones. I can't even get through the premise of most earlier test sections..

How do you guys review LGs from PTs?

Right now I am -0'ing or -1'ing the entire LG section.

I find myself unsure what to do. I know how to review LR and RC pretty easily.

For LG I find myself re-printing out the game section and just re-doing it. And then the obvious drilling of weakpoints if I find any.

Do you guys have techniques for going through the initial LG from the PT (the physical PT), your initial diagramming, etc and breaking it down? I find myself lost in this respect.

Not urgent but trying to figure out how to optimize my review.

DID the LR on PT 19 today
LR 1 -6
LR 2 -4

I dont know if this is considered to be easy, but a +22 on an LR section is the best i;ve ever done

-0ing is great. Keep it up and try to set up some superhard sections to really test you (Snakes and Lizards, Stained Glass, Dinos, and Zephyr airlines is my favorite "super-section"... if you can -0 that in 35 minutes, nothing they can throw at you in June can touch you).

Anyway, I would look over a 7sage video to see if you missed any big inferences, and if you have a study group of any kind, try to show other people how you did it. Vocalizing is going to help a lot in making you aware of your own process and where you could potentially get better (be it time-wise or whatever). Other than that... I mean, a -0 on games is kind of hard to review. You got it right... looking it over to see if there's anything you could have done better is beneficial, but there WILL come a time when there just isn't as much that needs review. I got to that point before my test, and you may be getting there too. Keep practicing, but if you feel like you "got it" and the results prove that, then no reason to think you're not doing enough.

Checking in, retaker (Oct '12 - 162) finally hit my 170 mark today (172) on PT41. -1LR -2RC -6LG.

One thing I think is helping me for games is that I'm taking my time on the first 3 getting every question right, and letting the chips fall where they may on the final game. Most of the time I'll ace the first 3 and still manage to pick up a few points (elimination question, quickly drawing out conditional questions) on the last game. Games are definitely the bellwether for the LSAT IMO.

you're in a great place. if that point distribution is proportionally representative of your typical PT then you should spend some serious time drilling LG. it's said so much around here because it's true: games are the easiest to improve on. there's still time for you to be -0 in June. congratulations on your progress btw.

Does anyone here have a suggestion for a sequence for recent PTs? I'm starting biweekly PTs, and I've set aside PT 57-68 each with a 5th section from earlier tests thrown in. I'm wondering if I should do them in order, starting with 57, or if there's a sequence that would be better for reviewing? Does it matter?

Also, since it's my first post in this thread: I'm a retaker (167 June 2009). I got a 163 on my re-diagnostic (June 2007, the free test) at the beginning of April, then started studying with NoodleyOne's guide. Since then I scored a 168 on PT 54 (mid April) and a 175 on PT 32 (this week). Foolproof.

I would do like some of the old, then the most recent, and then some of the old again.

Anybody have tips of overcoming a poor performance on a PT? Just took PT 68 (after a week off last week on vacation), and everything was off. Score was down 4-5 points, needed an extra minute or two on RC (not on experimental RC, fortunately), and missed one on LG for first time in a while.

Really demoralizing. Obviously should review, but not should if I should take another PT this weekend or drill some more. Man, one week off made me rustier than expected

Yeah, taking a week off will do that to you. I find that I can be "rusty" after a just a few days. There's a lot to be said for being in "LSAT mode" (i.e. looking for subtle language shifts, picking up on quirky distinctions in wording etc...), and for almost all people, it is far from their natural thought process and reading style. Do some drilling over the next day or two and then try another PT. I bet you'll be back to where you were before vacation.

Thanks, dude. I've actually been getting better at LG, the one I bombed here was the weird circular picnic game, so I'm not sweating it too much.

Don't freak out, everyone has a bad test. Figure out what went wrong, take the weekend to regroup and review and hit the ground fresh on Monday. 6 weeks is still plenty of time.
