Morning Tests - How Important?
How important is it to take practice tests in the morning? i.e. 9 am in the morning to simulate test day. I'm still in college, so obviously this is not an easy task. That said, I'm trying to build my schedule around this so I can try as many of these tests as possible. I'm taking 3 tests per week, but I only think I could take a maximum of 2 at 9am with my schedule. Would that be alright? (on saturday I am definitely taking it at 9am).
Or is the time of the practice test really not important at all? I am not an awful morning person, but I would think it would be a good idea to get used to taking tests that early.

I think this is overblown on TLS. It's not a requirement (I certianly didn't do morning tests) but it can only help you. If you're getting a couple in a week, then that should be fine.

I don't do it because I feel like it's more of a burden on me now than it will be of use to me later. I might start waking up earlier for the test closer to test time.... or I might drastically alter my sleep schedule to make 9 am mid day for me, haven't decided yet.

I am studying in the morning to mimic real test conditions. Last time I studied at night since I had a time restraint. My recommendation would be to test yourself early in the morning since that is when you will be taking the LSAT.

I tried to take PTs at around the same time as the real one when I studied on weekends, but I also did plenty of PTs after work at like 6pm to no ill effect. I'd say take them whenever you can, but not if you're super tired. You're more likely to make mistakes then, and they might start becoming habit and/or be unnecessarily discouraging.

I took my first early morning PT yesterday. It will take some getting used to, but I think it's going to be a great help. I got a 164, which is kinda low for me, but I completely bombed a LG (-9 AHH!) without that game I would've broke 170. My MLR reading also helped - all time great -3 score on each LR section. Looks like I'll be in a good place in a month.
So yeah, def take morning tests.
