Are Earlier PrepTests Easier?

Post by candycat » Tue Aug 16, 2011 8:53 pm

I've been doing preptests and noticed that my scores improved drastically for earlier ptests (38 and 39 specifically). I'm not sure if it's actual improvement in my LSAT skills or if it's because those tests are easier than later ones (49 and 50 specifically)??

Thanks!

You can definitely do 40s and get a fairly accurate representation of today's tests. You'll basically just be missing the comparative passages. There might be some varying opinions on what the older tests are like, but they're overall good prep regardless. It seems like most agree that older RC is a bit easier, 30s LGs are harder (more like WTF is this) and LR is pretty stable throughout.
