Kaplan Logical Reasoning Course

Post by rcatmullnv » Sat Jun 04, 2011 5:43 pm

From my first diagnostic, LR has consistently been my greatest weakness. I signed up for the course ($300), but after completing 1.5 sessions, I didn't feel like I was getting anything truly beneficial from the course. I've read the LRB and have done several practice tests at this point. I can get a 75% refund if I don't complete more than 2 sessions.

Do you guys think that money would be better spent on a Manhattan book or Cambridge LR Grouping books? Has anyone here taken Kaplan's LR course and benefited from it?

Get your money back and go through the LR bible over and over again.

my .02, LG Bible is great, but LR Bible is super illogical. I think this is the one place where Kaplan just makes more sense. I know many will rage at this assertion since they worship at the alter of Powerscore.

i can't really speak to the kaplan method for LR, but the atlas LR guide is really good (better than powerscore i'd say). their system for assumption questions is great and really helped me get to a good place with LR.
