151 cold LSAT

Post by lambert8 » Sat Apr 02, 2011 3:29 pm

Just took a proctored diagnostic today and got a 151 cold. How high can I end up at with 80 hour prep course before June 6 test? Thanks.

No one could answer this for you. It all depends on how well you understand and absorb the material, how much work you put in outside of the class, how you utilize the tools available to you, the manner in which you practice. I know people who started in the 150's and barely went up 5 points after weeks of studying and prep courses. I know other people who shot up 20 points and now go to some of the best schools in the country. It all depends on you.

Thats impossible to tell. Depends on how hard you study. But a lot of people score worse on their diagnostic. My cold test was a 157, and on the real deal i got a 166. I prolly could have studied harder though. You could make a large jump though.

Also, don't be afraid to postpone until October if you feel that you are not ready when June comes around. October LSAT still gives you plenty of time to apply on time/early even. One great thing about June is that it is later than other LSATs. Also, you can always fall back on October if you don't quite get the score you want, OR if out of 60 people in your room, you sit next to the ONLY kid with a cold. (God I hope that kid is paying full sticker at Cooley right now)

Nevertheless, take the test when you feel ready to hit your ideal score. HTH
