Did the Powerscore LSAT Bibles work for you?
I'm thinking of buying the whole set (RC, LR, LG), but of course, they're real expensive. For those of you who have really studied on them, did it truly help? How many points did it increase (if it did) to your practice tests by if you took them? Thanks!

Get the LG for sure, LR generally helps most, skip the RC bible.

Def. get the LR and LG. I think if you buy 3 together its close to the same price as buying 2 though. It's the only prep I used aside from TLS.

Re: Did the Powerscore LSAT Bibles work for you?
LG definitely helped me. I didn't try the others, because my LG section was so much weaker than the other two, I spent the bulk of my prep time with that bible. In the end, my LGs were just about as strong as the other two sections. One thing I wish I'd done was to supplement the bible with more practice tests, specifically PTs that are more recent. I went through "the next 10..." and only a couple of the most recent PTs and the the recent LGs have definitely changed. In my opinion they seem easier, but also just generally a bit different than the older ones (which the LG bible uses as examples) so it's good to get some of that practice in. To me it seems like RC has gotten harder and LG have gotten easier-- I wish I'd spent a bit more time on the RC and less on LG... All that is to say, I can vouch for the LG bible, and also highly recommend hammering through a ton of recent PTs to supplement.

Just by using the LR and LG Bibles along with preptests, I went up 30 points from my diagnostic; didn't take a prep class.

I am using them now for the June exam and I'm making good progress. Powerscore also offers workbooks for both the LG and LR bibles that have more practice questions.

The LG & LR Bibles are a must. But the RC Bible is disappointing at best. IMHO of course.

+1 Buy them NOW!Burgstaller04 wrote:The Gentleman wrote:The LG & LR Bibles are a must.
No RC bible necessary.
I got a 168 and the only prep I did involved those two bibles and past PT's while working full time (with work travel). I think if you have even more time to devote than I did (no work distractions), it's possible to realllllllllllly kill it with the bibles.
Google the LSAT Blog. It's got some pretty helpful study schedules, tips, and explanations as well.

I'm gonna stand out from the crowd. I bought all three but only had time to use the RC bible and it was a huge help for me. It would've been great to get to the other two bibles but I didn't have time because of unforeseen circumstances. Between my first and second real lsat my RC improved by 5 points. Wish I could've used them all. You definitely should use them all and exclusively, screw kaplan.

Yes, very much so. I got the LR and LG bibles, wish I had gotten the RC. I went from a 152 first time diagnostic to a 171 on the actual test.

Did far more for me than the Kaplan prep course. Cheaper too.
