How often are you gonna PT this time?
Considering I only did 2 PT's before the last one. I'm shooting for once a week. How many are you doing?
2 PTs total and you got a 163? Nice! I'm doing about 2-3 per week. I did like 3-4 last time but I wanna focus on reviewing a bit more this time. I'm actually coming up with a PT schedule tonight after I finish drilling RC.
Yeah for me it's not as much the time aspect as it is I am awful at spotting flaws. I missed -18 on my reasoning sections. That's a lot of drilling, I'm not sure if I could handle that much lol. I plan on doing about 2 hours a day of sections then a PT on Saturdays or Sundays.

I'm feeling the same way now. My RC plummeted.

Not posting anything anymore in regards to my prep!

Either I jinxed myself or I allowed you to get to me by believing so. LOL

5 out of 9 of my RC misses were the Suggested/Implied type. Can anyone recommend anything for these?

I took Sept 2009 and i was expecting a low score because I have been too busy for studying, got a 176 . I may have taken the test once before, but I really didn't remember any of the questions or answers. Also I messed up reading a rule in LG and I had to rush through it in the last five minutes and correct it. Ended up only missing one on that section. :D

Sept 2009 with Exp LG 96/101 176

LR1 -3
LG Exp -3
RC -1
LG -1
LR -0

I've found that taking time off really helps me. I'm not sure why, but I seem to get my best scores when I study the least that week. Just really weird.

This is my PT and Review schedule. I'm reviewing PTs with a friend on Skype on the days that our schedules match up. If anyone would like to review any of these tests together on these dates, just let me know and we can exchange Skype info through PM.

Dasani,

You are taking a PT two days before the official exam?

When do you plan on reviewing it? The day before?

Yeah, I found I do better (stamina-wise) when I PT the day before or 2 days before. I'm not reviewing it, I'm taking it just to keep my stamina up and hopefully build confidence since it'll be a retake.

I took PTs on Sat and Sun before the Monday june test...maybe was a BIT overkill but 2 days before should be A-Ok.

I planned on stopping four days before but am afraid that would be too far away from the official test.

I guess it depends on the person. I would NOT do well if I didn't do anything for more than 2 days before the test.

You are not retaking?

I was under the impression you were retaking.

Nope, not unless my cycle is really bad, then maybe I'd do Feb. Just hanging out and offering advice.

Made an account just for this -

I scored 177's on my last 5 PT's before taking the real thing in June. Two weeks before the test, I got food poisoning and was too sick to study for a week. I had a job interview that Thursday (yowch) and started a new job right after that sucked up all of my time. On the actual thing, I got a 168 in part thanks to blowing the reading section and in part due to that crazy logic game.

I decided to retake and did a PT 65 on Wednesday, where I got a 177 again. I'm planning on focusing on reading for the next few weeks, but I want to make sure I can't get surprised on logic games again. I know "that" game on the June test had been done in an earlier LSAT - did anyone put together a list of what tests have pattern/circular/other weird games? I'd really like to get a look at them so that i'm not TOTALLY bewildered if I see one again

Let's bring this thread back. With just a little over 3 weeks to go, how is everyone's prep going?

I relocated to the regular sept. study thread, as did a bunch of other retakers I think
