What do I do?

Postby jenny2011 » Sun Sep 04, 2011 12:52 am

I'm gonna be a senior in college, but I pushed one of my requirements too late and now it conflicts with my requirements for next year.
Should I:

1. Take 3 terms from now and graduate in spring 2013 instead of summer 2012? (which is what my professor basically told me i need to do)
2. Take the fall term, take the spring term off and take a course from a community college or a state college credit that my school would accept, take the fall of the next year off and then take the spring term after that? (since I need to take spring-term required classes)

I ask because i heard that you shouldn't take more than 8 terms of college.

No one cares if you take an extra term or an extra year to finish.

Maybe if it comes down to you and one other person for the last spot at Yale and every single other thing on your transcripts and resumes is identical, the person who didn't need an extra term of undergrad gets the nod.

But 98% of law school admissions is GPA + LSAT. Everything else is just tiebreakers. (And some tiebreakers are more relevant than others.)
