Is this what a LS exam looks like?

Post by arvcondor » Wed Mar 09, 2011 1:51 am

From U Kentucky's business enterprises final:

--LinkRemoved--

I was just looking for samples of various exams. Does this look standard?

Because I'm curious about the actual law school experience instead of just obsessing over admissions and biglaw.

What do exams look like then?

I am a 0L, but what's wrong with looking (or attempting to look) at exams? Wouldn't it be wise to at least look at one exam before entering LS? At least know what to expect.

+1, I've actually already looked at a few sample questions (and hopefully they were fairly representative). When so much is riding on these things and everyone has their own horror stories, I think it's only natural to wonder what all the fuss is about.

In the summer before my 1L I did at least three practice law school exams per week to get the hang of them. I think it really made a difference, honestly.

Don't get discouraged, OP.

I just think 0Ls should hear things from both sides.

Also, once you start school and have access to actual past exams from your professors, I'd highly recommend doing all the ones you have access under test-like conditions. There's no such thing as being too prepared. As someone hinted at above, law school exams are ridiculously important.

Yea practices tests are amazing. Not too sure how you do one without taking the classes though.

Yep. I know him IRL too. I wonder what that says about me, or about him since I believed it!
