part-time at weak consider schools

Post by uwb09 » Wed Dec 30, 2009 7:19 pm

i'm contemplating applyign part-time at some weak consider/consider schools, to better my chances (American U, George Washington, and Fordham)

(i tried searching FYI, but no matches come up for "part-time", and "part time" gives me 182 pages)

Question is, are part-time programs bad career prospect wise? Is there a considerably better chance to get into the part-time program over the full-time program?

part time programs have lower stats, generally, so yes, it is easier to get into a part time program.

most people who go part time the first year have no problem switching over to full time the second year. often you just fill out a form. so part-time won't reflect badly on you in the future--its actually there for people who have careers or want to gain work experience and take classes at night. so its fine
