TBH I don't look at all like Emma Watson it's just that one picture that kind of works.

Re: Senioritis / Quitting-my-job-soon-iorits
I have a picture of me and my celebrity look alikes. It gave me Tom Hanks, which I had no idea what he looked like, and the picture it matched me with was him standing in a tuxedo with his hand at an angle in his pocket. Not only did the face match, but the picture I had submitted was a cropped head shot of me in a tuxedo on a formal night dinner from a cruise ship.
That and it matched me to Geena Davis for my eyes, dimples and chin

Storpappa, I can only assume your face exudes this-guy-must-be-wearing-a-tux levels of class.
The only time somebody said I looked like a celebrity, it was some rando I barely knew who messaged me on Facebook being like "I watched this movie and you look JUST like the girl in it omg!!!" Looked up the actress and she's blonde and has blue eyes (I have brown hair and hazel ish eyes) and looks not even remotely like me. So IDK.

Are you outing me on TLS?xylocarp wrote:Storpappa, I can only assume your face exudes this-guy-must-be-wearing-a-tux levels of class.
I convinced a bunch of co-workers to wear tuxedos to the company holiday party one year. Those who didn't own a tuxedo or white dinner jacket had to rent.
I know, right? Who doesn't own that?
Anyway, those we took to the store to get measured for a rental in a scene from Pretty Woman.
A few backed out and went in work clothes or business casual. Ughh.
To add to the fun and surprise, I stood at the door to the party with a large box of boutonnieres and corsages for our team members to wear.
Unknown to me before hand, one of the team leads won an employee of the year award at the event. He was asked on stage by the CEO Did someone leak the award news? Why else would you have come to the party in a tuxedo and a boutonniere?
Best CEO pictures I ever had - spontaneous tuxedo pictures

There was a discussion on the WUSTL thread with current students making fun of people who do this. At Wash U you can log in and see everyone's ID photos, and the glamour shots are so WTF.storpappa wrote:law school profile pics -- anyone going to a Fiver or local photographer guy? Glamour shots?
I mean just to add to the stress that law school starts in 100 days

I went for undergrad and it's the same deal there, you have the option to submit a photo for your ID or just have one taken during registration. During this TLS convo I took a look at the law school photos (alumni still have access to all the photos, another reason to not look like a gunner weirdo) and I'd say 95% of people used the registration photos, so the people with elaborate submitted photos look odd.storpappa wrote:Better to be WTF then who? do you go here?

I'd probably just go with my LSAT pic, unless the school has the option of taking one for me at reg.
