This is what I'm doing. Problem is that it's my company that I'm in the process of selling. At this rate it's going to crash and burn before the July 1st merger date.

I now start every morning looking for potential symptoms of illness so I can call out. Planning on submitting my four weeks notice on Friday but hopefully I'll come down with Ebola some sort of flu between now and the end of April so I can just stop coming in.

The only meeting requests I've put up on Outlook since New Years are for PTO.

I've never felt more at home than in this thread.
How can i be expected to study for exams when its above 50 degrees and there is a football to throw in the front lawn?

Just realized I've been at my desk for two hours. Haven't left TLS, except to check my email and confirm that NU wants to see me cry.

exactly this! But I play on staying through end of July, two extra paychecks = that much less debt

This is how I am feeling too. I am so tempted by all the people traveling and doing other exciting things, but I'm just a stick-in-the-mud kind of gal, I guess.

Yup! And same as the hereisonehand - if I'm not at work, bills still need to be paid and I'll probably be spending additional money somehow (traveling, going out for drinks, etc)..so it's like taking a double loss (no income + extra expenses).

Each pay check becomes that much more valuable and means covering books, etc instead of more loans

this is how i feel too. i am so tempted to travel as well, but i get a decent paycheck, and that money that i earn in june/july will go a long way in lawl school.

you guys are inspiring me to try to care more... i <3 this thread.
I like how this went from a thread detailing our laziness to a motivational thread. I appreciate the sentiment of saving $ (and need to) but I'm still leaving my job early

Also unaffected. Only getting work done when I have state mandated deadlines to meet.
