Hell, that's coming pretty damn close to their own. 3 weeks from tomorrow would leave 2 weeks to make a decision.

The info could maybe be wrong. Back in December someone posted that they talked with admissions and the ED decisions were getting delayed until January. I freaked out and filled out around ten other applications (didn't send them but was prepared to aside from PS edits) because I had only applied to NU and Cornell at that point.

I got accepted the next day.

The way it was phrased, it didn't mean they would DEFINITELY take 2-3 weeks. It sounded more like they weren't totally sure when information will be released, and said 2-3 weeks maximum to give the impression of knowing when everything would be out.

Alternatively, they might have meant ALL scholarship information to every admit will be out in 2-3 weeks.

One of the H-school-who-shall-not-be-named adcomms. There was a cat-avatar panic where it was believed that a cat avatar gave you a boost in admissions. It didn't pan out for me so I went back to normal Bortles. I'll think about going back, but, no promises. I'm still a little salty.

Also, I have to hold on to hope that scholly info will be released this week.

Northwestern is the only school I'm waiting on a scholarship decision. It would be so much easier to plan seat deposits especially with some April 1 coming up if I knew.

Same. I actually had scholarship offers from the other schools I applied to before NU even sent out my admission decision. And by all accounts, I was in the first wave.

I voted tomorrow on the poll, but only out of hopefulness. If I don't have an offer by ASW, things are going to get pretty dark. Might even have to change my username.

Yeah, that would be really rough if they weren't out before ASW. Ideally, you'd want to know before you even shelled out the money to visit (assuming sticker wasn't an option).

I originally thought I was doing the right thing by waiting until scholly offers before booking an ASW trip but now that its less than 2 weeks away and there's no news I'm pretty bummed. Flights are probably crazy expensive at this point :/
