Is the alternate list basically a soft rejection for money? Georgetown is my first option by far but sticker prices scares me.

Also on the alternate list. FWIW I know a guy that got quite a bit of scholarship off the list two years ago. I think they just have to wait and see how many people withdraw and free up $.

Not really - 1.89% increase in BL+FC but a 3% decrease in Full Time, Bar Required...

Has anyone received an email asking if a scholarship in the range of $x-$x+5k "would make the difference in your decision?" Was kind of thrown because it didn't appear to be a specific offer but instead was asking how I would feel about a range of merit aid.

I dont think PI self-selection alone makes up for the 20% difference between it and the rest of the lower T14, however, that plus the large transfer class (which I assume doesnt do so well at OCI), and students targeting DC Biglaw probably makes up for a good bit.

I think the same student with the same rank would fare a little worse at OCI at GULC than if they were at another lower T14, however, I still think they'd be closer to how a lower T14 student would do rather than UT, Vandy, UCLA, USC...

It is so hard not to just quit right now. I keep telling myself that 2 months of income is a significant difference (esp. at my job), but it seems progressively less worth it.

where do you want to work? if CA, then UCLA, if east coast, then GULC, if somewhere else, it depends
