California Bar Lowers Passing Score

Post by NYCAlawgrad » Thu Jul 16, 2020 10:50 pm

California Supreme Court just permanently lowered the passing score from 1440 to 1390. Anyone know if there's a chance this will be applied retroactively? Took the February 2020 bar and got a 1394.

Long overdue but glad to see it. Over the years I've had plenty of students who had scored 1410 or so when they send me their score report from a previous exam. That'll now be a passing score.
