How are essays graded?

Post by YalteseFalcon » Sat Feb 18, 2017 10:54 pm

Specifically, how much flexibility will graders have? One Barbri lecturer (I think Epstein) mentioned that grades are done on a tablet. The examiner taps a button corresponding to an issue. If you hit that issue/element/item, you get credit. This seems very structured. Can examiners afford credit beyond what is on that list of items?

I am NOT in an UBE/MEE jurisdiction. PA.

I bet there are lawyers that give out points on every sentence you make and there are lawyers who only give points for saying exact word of the law....

Barbri graders were tough.... I was never able to get beyond 45 /80 total
