If the scholarship is supposed to be for people who were supposed to be getting a PI job/contingent on getting a PI job, then yes. Taking the money when you're not qualified for the scholarship is really just stealing, IMO.

I doubt they would find out, but if they did, it would be a tough sell to C&F. Not a good first impression as a new lawyer, and definitely not worth the few thousand bucks.
