Hey all,
I used the search and found a thread on this summer starting advantages but it didn't really answer all my questions. My main concern is that if I do it, I'll be graduating in the Winter. How does this effect recruiting? For the record, I am pretty much exclusively interested in big law.
Do most firms plan on doing their recruiting (or the bulk of it) at the beginning of summer? Anyone with thoughts or experience on this is welcome to answer.

Re: Summer Starting (UMich) Effect on OCI
I'm not a summer starter, but from what I've read/heard, there's not really a disadvantage - if anything, there might even be an advantage, since they can take mostly electives during spring semester (many of which aren't curved) and boost their gpa a bit.
I'm sure there's someone else on here who can speak to this better than I can.
