People used to say that certain lsat dates were easier/better to sit than others. Does any one know if that theory applies to bar exams? They offer it twice a year, has anyone heard any rumors on if it is better to take it on one vs the other?

Pass rates for the February exam are generally lower. I think in part that's something to do with the fact that fewer people take it in February (though I can't explain that statistically); the February curve is supposed to be tougher. (It probably doesn't help that people who fail in July tend to retake in February and retakers have lower pass rates generally than those taking it for the first time. I think. Could be wrong about that one.)
